Position SummaryThe Lead Installer is responsible for completing a variety of HVAC‑equipment installation tasks with quality, safety, and customer‑service excellence. The role includes travel to customer homes in Indiana, on‑call scheduling, and warranty product promotion. A valid driver’s license and refrigerant certification are required.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service on every job.
- Comply with all safety policies and calibrate gas‑sensing tools monthly.
- Install furnaces, condensers, humidifiers and accessories independently.
- Wired electric components for furnaces and thermostats (high/low voltage).
- Install sheet‑metal duct systems, connect gas lines, cut and thread pipe, and solder/brazing refrigerant lines.
- Accurately bill, order parts, and complete paperwork promptly and legibly.
- Maintain inventory, cycle‑count, and minimize re‑class data entries.
- Diagnose and solve technical problems using analytical techniques.
- Adhere to corporate policies, maintain safety, and submit field safety findings.
- Meet productivity, quality, and safety metrics and pursue additional training.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting 50–60 lbs, working from heights, and handling extreme temperatures and noise.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- HVAC certification or vocational/skill training in HVAC (certification not required).
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suites.
- iPad usage.

The base pay range for this position is $50,000 – $70,000 USD annually. Compensation may also include an annual performance‑based bonus, sales incentive plan, or commission target, depending on qualifications, experience, education, and skill set.
