• Accurately locate underground facilities including telephone, power, cable, gas, fiber optic, water, and sewer lines.
• Observe, locate, mark, and document underground and exposed utility locations.
• Use multiple locating methods and equipment to identify utilities.
• Work independently or as part of a team under supervision.
• Perform locates and emergency/on‑call locates during regular, overtime, and holiday hours as required.
• Interpret job order tickets, blueprints, and maps to plan work efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with customers, co‑employees, contractors, and utility owners to ensure a damage‑free environment.

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• State‑issued driver’s license.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to read and interpret printed materials.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and walk or stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Pass a background check with no violations in the last five years.
• Pass a DOT drug test.
• (Optional) Vacuum truck experience (A+).

• Company vehicle, laptop, smartphone, and personal protective equipment will be provided.
• Willingness to work 10‑hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with on‑call and weekend availability as needed.
