Our healthcare client has a large effort to clean up their network closets before the end of Q1 2026. They are looking for a Network Technician who is familiar with patching network cables in the IDF closets, specifically from Network Switch to Rack Ports. We have two disorganized closets at locations that need attention before the end of Q1. Closet 1 contains 5 switches, while Closet 2 contains 8 switches.

The tasks will include:

• Removing existing thick patch cables from the patch panel and switch one at a time.
• Using new thin patch cables to connect the patch port to the switch per the defined port mappings.
• Dressing the cable neatly using customer-provided wire management. The team will be providing port mappings, all new thin patch cables, wire management, and Velcro ties as required. Additionally, a teammate will be available to aid and/or advise during the scheduled on-site work.

This is a Contract position based out of Barrington, IL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Barrington, IL.
