The City of Oglesby is seeking qualified application for the position of Journeyman Electrical Lineman. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalency, and have graduated from an accredited lineman training program.
The position includes but is not limited to performing work related to the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems, and substations. Work in hazardous areas close to energized lines, including live rubber glove work, work in inclement weather, 24 hr call outs, and overtime as required.
Candidates must have or be able to obtain a CDL license, and must pass a physical, including a drug/alcohol test, and a background check. $43.00/hour. Includes a great benefit package.
