Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Social Worker license is required
- Previous experience working within a school setting is highly valued
- Knowledge of IEP processes; familiarity with EasyIEP software preferred
- Understanding of state and district-specific standards (PEL or related credentials as required)
- Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work onsite and effectively manage a caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative social work services to a caseload of 21 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and one student receiving 504 support each week
- Conduct assessments, develop interventions, and assist teams with IEP/504 meetings
- Support students in addressing social-emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation using EasyIEP
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to support holistic student growth
- Uphold ethical practices while adhering to state and district regulations
