Location: Scott Air Force Base
Software Developer (TRDM)
Position Summary:
Segue Technologies seeks a mid-level Software Developer to join our team as part of a project providing Data Management and Web Development support for a customer at Scott AFB (Scott Air Force Base) in O’Fallon, IL. This is a full-time position. Work will be performed both on-site and remotely.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Perform development work for web page and web service requirements and apply agile development methodology experience, including development, testing, and deployment
• Perform tuning of hardware, software, and interfaces with outside systems
• Analyzes problems and information to be processed
• Define problems and develop system requirements and program specifications
• Provide functional data support for the operational community
• Ensure that design and development is aligned with standards
• Troubleshoot and correct production issues
• Collaborate with team members throughout the development process to ensure best practices and design a scalable analytics infrastructure and data transformation/aggregation processes
• Additional tasks as required
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Systems, Engineering, or another technical field or related major
• 4+ years of software development/programming experience
• 2+ years of rapid/agile web development and support using Java, Eclipse IDE, HTML, JavaScript, cascading style sheet (CSS), and Junit
• Experience with Fortify static code analysis and DISA STIG compliance procedures
• Experience working with of Object-Oriented Design
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to work without direct supervision and in a team environment
