Senior Software Developer – Java, Python

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in object-oriented design and methodologies
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Capability to excel in a dynamic, team‑centric environment
• Availability to work on‑site at Dahlgren Naval Base 5 days a week

• Design, implement, and test source code for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System
• Troubleshoot reported issues and provide root cause analysis
• Support all phases of the system development lifecycle, focusing on software development, including analysis, requirements definition, design, coding, unit testing, and maintenance while producing related documentation

As a member of a Scrum team, you will engage in software design, implementation, testing, documentation, and defect analysis. This senior‑level role necessitates a minimum of 10 years of professional experience and requires you to be on‑site at Dahlgren Naval Base 4 or more days a week.
