Base pay range$16.19/hr - $23.06/hr

As a Transportation Specialist-Logistics, you will provide support to the Transportation Department in coordination with customers, suppliers, drivers, and other Dot/DTI employees.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Schedules customer delivery and supplier pickup appointments
- Enters information to update file maintenance systems
- Supports Customer Service, Replenishment, Routing, and Dispatch teams on scheduling related processes
- Provides excellent customer service to external scheduling contacts
- Participates in continuous improvement projects
- Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience working in fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
- Administrative or clerical experience
- Effective professional verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday.
Hours:
8:00am – 5:00pm - Works in both a team environment and on individual tasks
- Utilize data analysis and interpretation
