This position requires safely operating school buses under various weather conditions, including fog, rain, sleet, snow, and ice. It involves transporting students to and from a variety of school sites and ensuring their safety while they are on the bus, including special education students. The driver is responsible for maintaining a safe operating condition of the bus at all times.
Job Summary- Possess a valid school bus driver's license issued by the Illinois Secretary of State
- Current in all bus driver training mandated by the district and the state of Illinois
- Good health with no long-term disabilities that affect performance in essential job duties
- Demonstrated aptitude or competency in the performance responsibilities of a school bus driver
Terms and Conditions
Salary based on experience, starting at $34.00 per Route
Subject to random drug and alcohol testing
