Dispatch Coordinator / Dispatcher - Hybrid Work Schedule
Join Mansfield Energy Corp as a Dispatch Coordinator / Dispatcher in a hybrid work environment (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) after completion of training.
Responsibilities Inventory Management- Actively monitor designated customer tank readings.
- Plan deliveries based on current fuel levels and average daily usage.
- Monitor market direction and adjust delivery times to manage customer fuel needs with optimal purchasing opportunities.
- Document specific customer inventory requests.
- Schedule, coordinate, and manage FTL freight from terminal groups to customer locations.
- Build strong relationships with carriers to improve freight profitability.
- Implement terminal group sourcing adjustments based on arbitrage opportunities.
- Make efficient independent decisions within established guidelines.
- Obtain secondary carrier options if primary carriers decline or cannot meet delivery requirements.
- Support timely resolution of issues.
- Complete load confirmations daily, with no exceptions.
- Complete delivery confirmations daily, with no exceptions.
- Support carrier communication for loading direction.
- Implement Supply strategy from optimization software and market opportunities.
- Coordinate with Supply on contract compliance.
- Review and address carrier lifting accuracy.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as delegated by management.
Position Requirements Formal Education & Certification- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in dispatching or supply chain preferred.
- Petroleum industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to multi-task and make financially impactful decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work rapidly in a constantly changing environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and shift between activities that require immediate response.
- Effective communication skills with all stakeholders.
- Hybrid work schedule available after training (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity required to operate computer equipment.
