Starting Pay for position: $18.00/hour

Shift: FIRST SHIFT, MONDAY - FRIDAY 7:00am - 3:30pm.
* Mandatory OT including some Saturdays
* January - April

The Herff Jones Cap and Gown team, based in Arcola IL, is looking for seasonal warehouse associates to join our order processing team.

• Pull, pack, and inspect graduation apparel orders.
• Learn to meet production and quality standards for this operation.
• Learn how to train and direct new personnel.
• Learn about all product lines and processes in the warehouse.
• Select material by quality standards, colors, styles, and shades.
• Recognize colors and different cloth styles.

• Self-motivated.
• Adequate computer skills.
• Reading, writing, and math skills commensurate with job duties.
• Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential job functions.
• Recognize colors and different cloth styles.
• Work all mandatory overtime.
• Pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs.
• Lifting up to 30 pounds as needed.

• Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
• Reading, communication, simple math.
• Regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.
