Warehouse Associate (2nd Shift) - Peoria Heights, IL

Starting Wage: $19.00/hour

Schedule:

5-Day Work Week, 5:00pm-Close (End time varies—generally between 12:00am-2:00am), Weekends Required

• Handle Large Product:
  Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move a variety of heavy items, including appliances, furniture, and building materials, using hand dollies, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
• Prepare Deliveries:
  Accurately pick and stage orders for the next day's deliveries using order pickers, hand dollies, handheld scanners and warehouse management systems, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Operate High-Reach Equipment:
  Skillfully utilize order pickers to retrieve and stock items on shelves up to 30 feet high, adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Maintain a Safe and Organized Warehouse:
  Proactively ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines and reporting any potential hazards.
• Collaborate and Communicate:
  Work closely with team members to meet daily targets, communicate effectively, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
• Adapt to a Fast-Paced Environment:
  Manage fluctuating workloads and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic warehouse setting.
• Utilize Technology:
  Use computer terminals, scanners, and other technology to accurately track inventory, and process orders.
