Cycle Counter

This role focuses on accurately receiving, storing, and counting inventory while supporting daily warehouse operations such as picking, packing, and limited shipping activities. You ensure stock accuracy, maintain an organized work area, and follow safety procedures to keep operations running smoothly on the overnight shift.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against documentation to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Put away inventory in designated storage locations in an organized and efficient manner.

• Accurately pick and pack orders for customer shipments, ensuring correct items, quantities, and packaging.

• Assist with basic shipping tasks, including labeling, staging, and preparing shipments for carrier pickup.

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and order pickers when trained and authorized.

• Perform regular inventory counts and help reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in all warehouse zones.

• Follow all safety protocols, warehouse procedures, and company policies during daily operations.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support smooth warehouse workflows.

• Ability to perform warehouse production tasks, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and basic shipping.

• Material handling experience, including moving, staging, and organizing inventory.

• General labor skills suitable for a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and orders.

• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required.

• Experience operating forklifts and order pickers is a plus.

• Comfort working overnight hours on a consistent schedule.

• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist in different areas of the warehouse as needed.

This position is based in a warehouse environment on a 3rd shift schedule, working Sunday through Friday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. You work in a fast-paced setting that involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and handling various materials throughout the shift. The role may include operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and order pickers once properly trained and authorized.

The facility emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure a secure and efficient workplace.

This is a Contract position based out of Loves Park, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
