We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our team delivering a structures scheme 'll be responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of a five-span over bridge, working closely with the client and site teams to ensure the programme is delivered to specification.

The Role:

You’ll lead the delivery of a complex structures programme, managing site teams, subcontractors, budgets and construction activity from planning through to completion. With a strong understanding of temporary works, CDM requirements, health and safety, quality and environmental standards, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the bridge is constructed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while maintaining positive relationships with the client and stakeholders.

are some of the activities you’ll be involved in...
  • Managing site construction activity for a five-span over bridge, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to specification.
  • Leading operational teams and subcontractors, ensuring competence, compliance and clear communication across the programme.
  • Managing the structures programme of works, including planning, progress updates, reporting and delivery milestones.
  • Overseeing temporary works, including coordination, design development and global stability considerations during construction.
  • Monitoring budgets, controlling costs and managing plant, materials and labour efficiently.
  • Reviewing and approving RAMS, Temporary Works and lifting operations in line with legislation and company procedure.
  • Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015, health and safety legislation, environmental requirements, QA processes and QMP systems.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture, visual leadership and collaborative behaviours with clients and stakeholders.
We would love to hear from you if...

You have a strong background in civil engineering and structures, with proven experience delivering bridge or similar complex construction schemes. You’ll be confident managing people, budgets, programmes and client relationships, with a sound understanding of temporary works, CDM 2015, health and safety legislation, quality management and environmental requirements.

You hold CSCS and SMSTS, along with a current Temporary Works Coordinator ticket. First Aid at Work and SEATS would be desirable, alongside IOSH, ILM Level 3, formal CDM training or NEC contract experience.

Additionally, Strong planning, organisation and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, lead by example and build positive relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
