Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: East Halton

A specialist Machinery manufacturer in South Yorkshire, who are part of a global organisation are looking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. With projects booked in for the foreseeable future, this is a great time to become part of an established growing Engineering firm. You'll work in a highly skilled Engineering team, generating design concepts for a range of complex Special Purpose Machinery & Capital Equipment.

This will involve overseeing projects from initial query, through to testing, manufacture and installation. You'll perform all first principle calculations, DFMEA reports, detailed designs using Solidworks and regularly deal with clients and suppliers. As you'll be joining a global business, you'll receive first class training and development which will provide further opportunity. This company are a leader within their field, so candidates with expertise in Machinery Design & Capital Equipment will be favoured.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements: HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Strong 3D CAD Skills Experiecnce in Special Purpose Machinery design Automation Experience GD&T (BS8888) Drive and Pneumatic Systems / Producing Design Calculations Material selection, Machining Methods and Techniques Benefits of the Senior Mechanical Design role:
