Main Purpose of the role

DSV are recruiting for a Logistics Co-ordinatorto be responsible for providing administrative support to warehouse operations and freightforwardingdepartments, ensuringaccuraterecords, processing documentation, coordinating with warehouse,transport and planning departments as well ascustomersand overseas partner offices. This role helpsmaintainefficient processes and the movement of goods through the networkby managing data entry, reporting, and communication while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

What will you be doing?
  • Previous experience in an administrative,warehouseorlogisticssupport role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution.
  • Knowledge of inventory controlprocesses and transport management systems

  • Becustomer-focused with dedicationinyour service to deliver high quality service.
  • Ability tomaintainpositivemind-setwhen working under pressure, re-prioritisingworkload where necessary.
  • Be reliable with the ability to multitask and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy.
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly as required. KnowledgetoCW1
  • would be preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal/written with a polite, courteous, and professional telephone manner.
