Job Description
The Asset & Maintenance Lead (Lindsey) Provides leadership and coordination for asset maintenance at Lindsey during the transition period, ensuring maintenance planning and execution supports safe, compliant operations and readiness for Day 1 commercial operations priorities and ongoing business plans. The role sits within a defined Lindsey maintenance structure that includes Tank Team leadership, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, and other maintenance coordination roles, indicating broad accountability across maintenance work management and tank-related programmes.
Core Responsibilities
* Ensure routine maintenance planning is managed through structured scheduling, including weekly schedule with a 4‑week lookahead and integration into a planning schedule.
* Ensure routine maintenance requests are managed through a defined planning process, with scope planned appropriately and progressed through execution and close‑out
* Steward the end‑to‑end routine maintenance work process steps (Work Notification & Prioritization;
Screening & Approval; Planning; Plan Approval; Backlog Management; Scheduling; Execution; Documentation & Closure) as the standard expected approach for routine maintenance governance.
* Support and coordinate tank maintenance and outage programme delivery using structured planning practices, including Schedule Quality Reviews (SQR) and a Stage Gate Planning Process (SGPP).
* Coordinate and align enabling works associated with tank outages where required
* Ensure tank maintenance activities are supported by appropriate safety planning requirements where applicable.
* Ensure works are planned and scheduled in a way that integrates routine maintenance and other maintenance programmes, Tank Team work may operate on a separate schedule with requests integrated by scheduling function.
* Provide prioritisation and coordination of field activities to resolve conflicts and support safe, efficient execution
* Ensure that critical mechanical integrity inspections and repairs are undertaken in support of health and safety requirements and priority commercial operations
* Ensure inspection activity is executed in accordance with inspection programmes, Written Schemes of Examination (WSE) and inspection procedures,
* Support readiness activities aligned to Day 1 Commercial Operations, including maintenance and inspection work streams
* Align deliverables with the broader transition plan priorities that include utilities, maintenance/fabric maintenance, civils, inspection services, and safe start‑up procedures as part of the Day 1 / commercial operations pathways.
Education Requirements/Key Skills
* Strong capability in maintenance planning and scheduling practices, including managing work requests through a planning process and tracking progress against weekly plans.
