Salary: £12.21 - £25.00 per hour (Productivity-linked pay: the more you bag, the higher your earnings)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and physically fit Port Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced port environment, supporting the safe and efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Operating port equipment (training provided where required)
Operating bagging plant machinery
Ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and in line with operational guidelines
Working as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and maintain workflow
Maintaining a clean and organised working area

What We're Looking For

Port Plant driving operatives, forkift B1, B2, Loading shovel - using blade and spike.
Reliability - consistent attendance and commitment to scheduled shifts
Hardworking attitude - willing to get stuck in and support the wider team
Excellent physical fitness - able to lift, carry and move heavy items safely
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong awareness of health & safety
Flexibility to work different shift patterns, including days, nights and weekends
Port plant drivers and general operatives required.
Must have a full UK Driving licence.
