Part-Time Faculty - Allied Health Continuous Pool

Under the direction of the appropriate Dean, this position is a part-time temporary instructional faculty assignment. This role is suitable for an exceptionally motivated candidate who demonstrates a genuine interest in engaging with a diverse student body and possesses a deep passion for fostering academic growth and knowledge. A commitment to creating an environment that actively promotes diversity and inclusion is fundamental.

• Provide instruction in accordance with approved Imperial Valley College curriculum and established course outlines, based on college needs.
• Assignments are based on class availability, seniority, and qualifications, including conducting classes, preparing course materials, evaluating students, developing syllabi, assessing learning outcomes, and related duties.
• Maintain and submit accurate records (grades, syllabi, attendance reports) according to deadlines.
• Maintain professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the position.
• Advise students on academic matters.
• Maintain competency in the field.

Applicants may qualify through education and experience equivalency, which requires submitting transcripts and a work experience description with the application.

• Any bachelor’s degree or higher with two years of professional experience, or
• Any associate degree with six years of professional experience.
