Part-Time Faculty - American Sign Language Continuous Pool

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Under the direction of the appropriate Dean, this position is a part-time temporary instructional faculty assignment. This role is suited for an exceptionally motivated candidate who demonstrates a genuine interest in engaging with a diverse student body and possesses a passion for fostering academic growth and knowledge. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

Applicants may qualify with education and experience equivalent to the listed degrees. To be considered for equivalency, submit college transcripts (showing degree awarded or conferred with a completion date) and a complete description of work experience with your application.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree and two years' related experience; or
• Associate's degree and six years' related experience; or
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to the above. Applicants requesting equivalency must complete the form provided in the application packet and submit supporting documentation.

Applicants must demonstrate sensitivity and understanding of diverse socio-economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students (AB 1725, 87360a).
