Trainee Accountant

As a Trainee Accountant you will play a key support role within our busy team.

This entry-level position is ideal for a recent school or college leaver with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

You will gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping, preparing VAT returns, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with accounts up to trial balance.

Working closely with both clients and colleagues, you will develop essential technical and interpersonal skills, laying the foundation for a successful career in accountancy.

Responsibilities

• Provision of bookkeeping services to clients
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Preparation of accounts to trial balance
• Good interpersonal skills for communication with clients
• IT proficient and confident
• Have an eye for detail and accuracy
• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Some experience in cloud bookkeeping software preferred
