We are one of Lanarkshire’s largest accountancy practices based in Hamilton. Due to our rapidly expanding workload, we are seeking to recruit a Portfolio Account Manager.

The Portfolio Accounts Manager is a key position within our practice, created in response to continued growth and increasing client demand. You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts, while delivering exceptional service and advice.

This position would suit a career orientated individual with a strong work ethic, looking to further their career.

• Preparation of Financial Statements for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies
• Preparation of Corporate and Personal Tax Returns.
• Preparation of Management Accounts.
• Corresponding with various organisations on behalf of clients.
• Dealing with client queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Experience of accountancy software essential i.e. Iris, Dext, sage, although full training and support will be provided if required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise jobs is key
• The successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking, able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
• Preferred 3 years work experience with an accountancy firm.
• Good Microsoft Office knowledge including Excel, Outlook and Word

Registered as auditors in the United Kingdom by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
