Position: Staff Accommodation Coordinator

STAFF ACCOMMODATION COORDINATOR (ALLOCATIONS) - Hamilton Island

Hamilton Island is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accommodation Coordinator (Allocations) to join our team. This pivotal role ensures that new arrivals and existing employees are allocated safe, comfortable, and well-maintained accommodation that meets operational needs and enhances their island experience.

Where you’ll make an impact
  • Coordinate the allocation and relocation of staff accommodation rooms for new arrivals and existing employees
  • Liaise closely with the Recruitment team to ensure accommodation is ready for each weekly intake
  • Work with Inspections and Housekeeping teams to ensure all rooms are prepared prior to check-in
  • Communicate effectively with staff residents regarding check-ins, relocations and check-outs
  • Maintain the Staff Accommodation database, waiting lists and related reporting
  • Manage maintenance requests, room keys and administrative documentation
  • Conduct quarterly file audits and ensure paperwork and records are accurate and compliant
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports and assist with general administrative tasks

To be successful, you’ll need:
  • Queensland Driver’s Licence (Essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Essential)
  • Previous office experience in a property management, resort or accommodation environment (Desirable)
  • Experience with computerised databases and reservation systems such as Host (Desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse teams
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a calm and patient approach
