** We are looking for an experienced
** Civil Excavator Operator
** to join our
** Construction Division
** based out of
** Hamilton.
** You will be operating 8-25T Excavators and be part of a team performing a wide range of construction activities including:
* General earthworks, road widening & detailed excavation
* Pavement construction and kerbing preparation
* Drainage Excavation, including wate tabling and rural pipe installation
* Subdivision excavation work
* Shaping and trimming of batters
* Ensuring high quality infrastructure projects are delivered to plan using your expert operator skills
** To be successful in this role, you will:
*** NZ resident or NZ citizen
* Background in civil construction
* Able to work independently & have an eye for detail
* Class 2 licence & WTR as a minimum
* Previous experience with GPS enabled equipment would be advantageous
* Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and achieve strict deadlines
* Leadership and crew management would be beneficial
