Customer Service Coordinator
Non-Exempt Salaried Position
Standard Motor Products-Independence, KS has an immediate opening to join our Customer Service Team. This individual must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The responsibilities of the position include:
- Customer account management
- Enter purchase orders and follow through to delivery
- Access and manage customer online portals
- Process Electronic Data Interchange customer orders
- Understand and analyze customer scorecard metrics
- Communicate with customers and all levels of SMP management
- Prepare customer returns and debit/credit documentation
- Prepare Customs documentation
Experience/
Education:
- Business or related Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing customer service or planning environment.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision in a professional manner
