Job descriptionKey Responsibilities Deputy headteacher Purpose of the role
To support the Headteacher in providing strategic leadership and management of the school, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, wellbeing, and inclusion for all pupils. The Deputy Headteacher will play a key role in school improvement and will deputise for the Headteacher when required.
Key Responsibilities ALNCo Purpose of the RoleTo lead and coordinate provision for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in line with the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act 2018 and ALN Code for Wales (2021), ensuring inclusive practice and high-quality support for all learners.
