Job Description As a Deputy General Manager specializing in Plant Finance & Costing Analysis within the Manufacturing industry, your role involves a range of key responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly profitability reports for each plant, ensuring accuracy in financial and operational data
- Analyze plant performance metrics, financial statements, costing activities, inventory levels, and variances
- Support month-end closing procedures, budgeting exercises, forecasting activities, and monitoring CAPEX utilization
- Collaborate with corporate teams to facilitate smooth book closures, maintain financial controls, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct product costing exercises, validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing information, and provide support in quoting processes
- Monitor material consumption rates, labor costs, waste management, and scrap accounting practices
- Oversee fixed assets reporting requirements and drive the standardization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes across all plant locations
- Manage inventory verification procedures, reserves management, and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records
- Deliver ad hoc reports and offer financial insights to the leadership team as needed

Additionally, the following key skills are essential for success in this role:

- A strong understanding of cost accounting principles and plant finance operations
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, as well as a good command of basic MS Office applications
- Experience working with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Detail-oriented approach, self-driven work ethic, and adept at coordinating cross-functional activities
- Excellent analytical capabilities and effective communication skills
