An exciting temporary opportunity for an experienced finance leader to provide strategic oversight, trusted senior advice, and strong financial governance at the heart of the organisation.

• Lead all finance activity, ensuring strong governance, control, and assurance.
• Support board and audit committee oversight.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on strategic decisions.
• Lead financial planning, accounts, business cases, and business partnering.
• Drive value for money through solutions-focused financial management.
• Oversee procurement and commercial activity.
• Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships.

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

• Fully CCAB-qualified accountant with government finance experience.
• Proven experience preparing or auditing financial statements.
• Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and building effective relationships.
• Excellent communicator, able to distil complex financial information into clear, actionable insight.
• Holds CTC clearance or above.

• Annual salary equivalent £71-85k
• Hybrid working
