** About the Role
** We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Officer to join Estia Health Hamilton , a leading Aged Care provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing our residents home, ensuring it remains in optimal condition.
** Key Responsibilities**:
• Perform regular inspections of buildings, facilities, and grounds
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and repairs on building systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers for specialised repairs
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules

* Required Qualifications:

* • Trade qualification in a relevant field and/or experience in a similar role
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Physical capability to perform maintenance tasks
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
