Job Description Summary
The CT/XRAY Dual Registered Technologist reports to the Imaging Director. Under general supervision, the technologist performs high-quality radiology and CT/XRAY examinations according to established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonates to geriatrics for physician interpretation.

Job Description
The CT technologist utilizes all CT resources to perform high-quality examinations on patients of all ages for physician interpretation.
Minimum Training and Education
Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program and at least one year of radiologic experience. Must be registered with ARRT in Radiography and Computed Tomography, and licensed by SCRQSA. Must be capable of producing high-quality images with minimal supervision and be familiar with age-specific imaging criteria.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations
Registration with ARRT (Radiography and CT), licensure by SCRQSA, current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross). Must maintain all certifications and licenses proactively.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors, in confined spaces, and from elevated areas. Must have good vision, hearing, tactile, olfactory, and motor skills, and be able to lift up to 15 lbs, with frequent movement and fine motor tasks.
Additional Job Information
Education:
Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year radiologic experience.
Certification: ARRT registration, SCRQSA licensure, BLS certification required. Must obtain advanced modality registration within 1 year of hire.
