** ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Serve guests in a welcoming, timely, and efficient manner
* Handle cash, credit, and room charge payments making nightly deposits
* Daily stock and clean the bar/lounge area
* Maintain strong knowledge of menus, local beer, wine, spirits and culinary specials
* Craft specialty cocktails using local & regional Spirits and pour local beer and wine
* Assists in the welcoming, bussing, and serving of guests in the lounge, dining room, and lobby as needed
* Listen to guest concerns and resolve issues to the best of your ability
* Follow federal, provincial, and company policies/regulations for serving alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner
* Keep record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicate details to Management
* Assist as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquets
* Offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed
* Perform other duties as requested by Management
** REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
*** 1-2 years bartending/cocktailing experience in high volume bar/restaurant setting
* Hold applicable Provincial (Pro Serve/Serving it Right) credentials.
* Work ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
* Willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
* An active listener and the ability to tell stories to guests
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks at once
* Ability to anticipate guest needs
* Physically able to complete the duties required
* Calm demeanor with conflict resolution skills
* Committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning& sanitizing standards

The starting wage for this role is $17.00/hour.
