Bar & Restaurant Waiter​/ess

For our client a luxury river cruise company we are looking for:

• Provide friendly, efficient and professional service in all Food and Beverage venues and areas onboard.
• Welcome and say goodbye to all guests visiting any venue.
• Take food and drink orders and deliver them as per company standards and HACCP cleanliness and hygiene procedures.
• Explain the menus and all listed beverages, as per set recipes and standards.
• Ensure dietary requests are fulfilled and inform guests of their choices at every meal.
• Take care of cleanliness of glassware, china and cutlery; cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene of the entire department, including directed parts on the sundeck, pantries, back office and workrooms as per guidelines.
• Take part in loading supplies for the ship and in luggage distribution if scheduled.

• EU nationality or work permit for EU
• Experience in the Hospitality sector - 1 year min
• ENGLISH language is a MUST
• Other languages will be considered as an advantage
• Salaries are GROSS per month - approx. 2060 EUR
• Employment contract and social benefits – SWISS or FRENCH (depending on operation)
• Paid holidays – approx. 8 weeks on board 2 weeks off

• Travel expenses – will be reimbursed at the end of the contract (up to 1100 EUR)
• Accommodation, meals, uniforms - provided on board the ship
• The season starts in March/April and lasts until Dec/Jan.
