We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and manage our offshore operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operational management, with a proven track record in the offshore industry. The Operations Director will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, optimizing processes, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective offshore operations.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of offshore activities, ensuring they meet both productivity and quality standards.
• Coordinate with other department heads to ensure that operational activities are aligned with the overall strategy and objectives of the company.
• Manage budgets and forecasts, and oversee procurement and supply chain management to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements in all offshore operations.
• Lead and manage a diverse team, providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
• Facilitate communication between onshore and offshore teams to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
• Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including clients, Charterers, end-users, regulatory bodies, partners, and suppliers.
• Ensure that all offshore equipment and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards and are fit for purpose.
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies and unexpected issues, implementing contingency plans as needed.

• Experience in a Operations Management position with an offshore management company
• Seagoing experience as Captain with DP-2 and DP-3 vessels
• Extensive experience in operational management, preferably in an offshore environment/wind farm/Oil and Gas
• Strong understanding of offshore industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
• Proficient in the use of operational software and technology.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including occasional visits to offshore sites.
