Overview
We are looking for a Farm Supervisor to oversee daily farm operations and ensure the smooth running of agricultural activities.
Pay: CA $25.00 – CA $28.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
- Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
- Direct farm grooming and agricultural crops deleafing activities
- Oversee the activities of clearing the fields
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work
- Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- Maintain quality control and production records
- Implement soil fertility programs
Knowledge and skills sought
- 1 year to less than 2 years supervising experience in an agricultural or farm setting
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in physically demanding environment
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
