We are seeking a Grill Cook to join our team! This position is responsible for the preparation of stations, production of food,execution of menu items and consistent plate presentation. This is an opportunity to advance your career in the Hospitality Industry andgrow with our Company!

Experience:

Must have at least one (1) or more years of related Culinary experience in a fast-paced environment;
Cold and Hot Line experience required, though willing to train the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities for the Grill Cook include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on guest check. Ensure consistency of product for the guest.
  • Operate standard cooking equipment such as mixers, steamers,toasters, fryers, oven, stove and grill.
  • Work other stations as needed.
  • Maintain work area in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation in a timely fashion while performing multiple tasks.
  • Maintain product consistency, including seasoning of food andplate presentation.
  • Continuously look for ways to increase productivity.
  • Handle food and rotates it according to established procedures,including cooking and cooling temperatures.
  • Secure food supplies from stockroom and refrigerators.
  • Utilize proper and safe knife skills.
  • Respect and accommodate the food server’s requests regarding guest’s personal preferences and requests.
  • Check the quality of the food items and inform the Sous Chef of unusable product. Properly label, date, andstoreall food.
  • Maintain a full line of communication with supervisors.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by Kitchen Management.
Experience and Skills
  • Minimum of 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to stand long periods of time without sitting andendure climate changes.
  • Must be able to bend and reach on a continuous basis.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to use all hand tools, equipment and machines neededfor work
  • Must be able to measure and cut with great precision
  • Ensure all products are prepared to company specification
  • Must continuously demonstrate a positive, upbeat and customer-focused attitude-
  • Actual compensation is commensurate with relevant skills and qualifications
