SENIOR FLORIST – Hamilton Island - 6 month contract
Hamilton Island is one of Australia’s favourite destinations for tropical weddings! Consequently, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Florist to join our talented team.

Your days will be spent surrounded by beautiful blooms and planning and creating stunning floral designs with brides, conference organisers and our management team. As our first point of contact, you will complete consultations gaining an in depth understanding of each client’s requirements to prepare quotations.
Where you’ll make an impact- Design and preparation of premium wedding arrangements, and all other general floristry orders
- Assist management in the supervision of the store and staff
- Assist with store merchandising and have a passion for sales
- Perform opening and end of day procedures
Assist with stock ordering and inventory control - Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store
- Assist with the training of new employees
You are friendly, communicate well, and possess creative flair. You have an eye for detail and the ability to help our guests identify the perfect floral arrangements to meet their expectations and budget.
To be successful, you will need:- Certificate III in Floristry
- A passion for wedding floristy and extensive experience in this craft
- Driver Licence
- Flexibility to work weekends
