Reporting to our Maintenance Manager, your role will see you carry out maintenance, repairs, and installations across a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment that keep our island running. From resorts and restaurants to the marina and airport, this is a chance to bring your skills to a dynamic environment and enjoy a lifestyle most people only dream about.

• Maintain, repair and install electrical systems across Hamilton Island infrastructure (resorts, airport, marina, restaurants, bars, apartments, wildlife park and more)
• Test and tag electrical appliances
• Carry out maintenance and repairs to white goods, AV systems, motors and pumps
• Service and repair commercial kitchen and laundry equipment
• Ensure reliable power and lighting across the island
• Respond to call-outs as part of the on-call roster

You’re a qualified electrician with strong problem-solving skills, experience across a wide range of equipment, and a collaborative, positive approach. You take pride in delivering safe, efficient work and understand the vital role you play in creating a great experience for our guests, and when the tools are down, you’re ready to enjoy your time off in a tropical island paradise.

• QLD Electrical Work Licence – Electrical Mechanic (or ability to transfer from interstate)
• Minimum 2 years’ full-time trade experience
• Open/unrestricted manual driver’s licence
• White Card (Construction Induction Training)
• Working at Heights certification
• Current CPR/LVR certification
• Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
• Willingness to participate in an on-call roster
