Job Description Duties/ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and inspect, detect faults and malfunctions, adjust and repair or replace defective parts, Test, Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work, on heavy equipment such as CAT 990 Loaders, Large off road trucks and pot carriers, cranes excavators and other large material handling equipment Service attachments and working tools. Keep maintenance reports and documentation.
Qualifications- Education:
College or classroom training and mechanic apprenticeship in Heavy Equipment, Truck and Coach, Farm Equipment - 421A Heavy Equipment Technician license is an asset
Must have six months to 2 years’ experience in Heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

Preferred QualificationsExperience maintaining and repairing heavy off road equipment in a steel mill, quarry, mine, oil sands, mineral processing or heavy industrial environment
Additional InformationHourly rate: $44.81 per hour
Guaranteed raisesin 2024 and 2025 per collective agreement
OTpaid after 40 hours. Mainly day shift. Some afternoons and weekends
