STOREPERSON – HEAVY VEHICLE DRIVER / Hamilton Island – Warehouse & Logistics
Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Storeperson – Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our Warehouse and Logistics team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this hands-on role, you will ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse, including stock handling, safe delivery, and the operation of heavy vehicles. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and work as part of a tight-knit team to maintain accurate records, assist with freight movements, and uphold workplace safety standards.
Where you’ll make an impact- Operate heavy combination (HC/MC) vehicles to transport goods as required
- Maintain accurate records of inward, outward and current stock
- Load, unload and distribute goods safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment with care
- Respond to internal enquiries and assist departments with deliveries
- Uphold OH&S and warehouse compliance standards
- Support stocktakes, reporting and general warehouse upkeep
You’re a reliable, experienced warehouse professional who takes pride in safe driving and organised operations. You thrive in a structured, high-output environment and enjoy being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
To be successful, you will need:- Current HC or MC Driver’s Licence (Essential)
- Valid Forklift Ticket (Essential)
- 1–2 years of previous experience in warehouse operations
- A good understanding of OH&S procedures in a warehouse environment
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills
- A flexible, team-first attitude with attention to detail
