Storeperson
based on our
Shute Harbour Warehouse.

Hamilton Island’s Warehouse and Logistics team is the engine room of the island—keeping everything running smoothly, from guest experiences to staff operations. Whether it's food and beverage, maintenance materials, staff uniforms or retail stock, our Store persons help make the magic happen behind the scenes.

You will be supporting the efficient movement of goods between the mainland and Hamilton Island in one of Queensland’s most scenic coastal locations

In this hands‑on role, you’ll support the smooth and safe operation of our Shute Harbour warehouse. You’ll handle incoming and outgoing freight, operate heavy vehicles and forklifts, and maintain accurate records. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll be essential in ensuring goods move efficiently to and from Hamilton Island.

• Operate MR/HC/MC vehicles to transport goods between the mainland and barge operations.
• Accurately track and manage incoming/outgoing stock.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts and appropriate equipment.
• Liaise with internal departments and drivers for scheduled deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and adhere to OH&S protocols.
• Support stocktake processes, inspections, and general warehouse upkeep.

You’re a dependable warehouse operator and driver who thrives in a team environment. You take pride in your organisational skills, safety focus, and customer service mindset.

• For Storeperson Driver Heavy Vehicles - Valid HC or MC Driver's Licence (Essential)
• For Storeperson - Valid MR Driver's Licence (Essential)
• Valid Forklift Licence (Essential).
• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety and compliance.
• Good communication skills and professional presentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
