Job Summary:

Centerpoint Medical Center is actively recruiting emergency medicine physicians for our new freestanding emergency department (FSED) scheduled to open September 2025 in Independence, Missouri. Physicians who join the freestanding emergency department may choose to rotate through the main emergency department of Centerpoint Medical Center.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified/board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• 60-hours physician coverage daily; 10-hour shifts
• 58 hours of APP Coverage Monday
  - Friday
• 48 hours APP coverage Saturday
  - Sunday
• 65,000 emergency medicine visits in a 42-bed, Level II Trauma Center
• Rapid Care Unit open 24/7
• ATLS, ACLS & PALS required
• Ability to obtain Missouri medical licensure
