Overview
We are looking for people dedicated to helping students learn in the absence of the classroom teacher.
Certifications/QualificationsMust hold a valid MO teaching certificate or MO substitute teaching certificate. Preference given to those with a valid current substitute certificate (or teaching certificate).
How to obtain a substitute certificate:
- Completed 36 college credit hours from a DESE approved college or university and can pass a criminal background screening.
OR
- Must hold a high school diploma and complete a 20 hour course provided by Frontline Education System and can pass a criminal background screening.
- Teacher Substitute (Sub/Teaching Certificate Required)
- Regular Teacher Substitute - $130.00 per day
- Regular Long-Term Teacher Substitute - $160.00 per day (eleven or more consecutive days in the same assignment)
- Retired Teacher Substitute - $145.00 per day (substitute who retired as a certificated teacher)
- Retired Teacher Long-Term Substitute - $175.00 per day (eleven or more consecutive days in the same assignment)
- Incentive - $130 (ten or more days in a calendar month)
(Sub/Teaching Certificate Required)
- Regular Para Substitute - $115.00 per day
- Retired Para Substitute - $115.00 per day (substitute who retired as a certificated teacher)
- Incentive - $115 (ten or more days in a calendar month)
