You’ll collaborate closely with a highly experienced Controller who has been with our organization for 28 years, providing mentorship and insight into executive‑level financial management. - Perform weekly payroll processing and oversee related compliance and process improvements
- Participate in month‑end close, including complex journal entries, variance analysis, and executive‑level financial reporting
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring robust controls and audit readiness
- Partner with the Controller on monthly financial statements, forecasts, and strategic planning
- Design and enhance management reports for senior leadership
- Provide authoritative guidance on accounting and financial questions through advanced data analysis
- Prepare daily deposit account reconciliations and serve as primary backup for accounts payable
- Support annual physical inventory and external audit
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with exposure to multi‑entity environments
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and payroll processing experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) a plus
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and drive process improvements
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset
- Proven track record of initiative, leadership, and readiness for advancement.
