Job SummaryAs a PRN Respiratory Therapist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor or Team Leader. Your responsibilities include medical gas administration, aerosol therapy, specimen collection, patient testing, equipment operation, mechanical ventilation, airway maintenance, CPR, patient education, monitoring, documentation, equipment cleaning, and maintaining infection control practices.
Key Qualifications- Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care
- NBRC RRT certification
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment start date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS preferred upon hire; ACLS and NRP required within 6 months of hire
- One year of recent clinical experience preferred
