Perinatal Sonographer Weekend/Alt - Medical Imaging - UH Lakewood Medical Center

Work 2 days per week (6:00 a‑6:30 p) on Saturday and Sunday. Sign‑on bonus offered.

Location & Hours

Lakewood Medical Imaging – Independence, Missouri
Part‑time, 6:00 AM‑6:30 PM, 24 hours per week

What You’ll Do

• Perform advanced perinatal ultrasound imaging with precision and expertise
• Provide technical support during specialized imaging studies
• Serve as a resource to colleagues, fostering collaboration between Perinatal Ultrasound and Medical Imaging departments
• Work closely with the Lead Perinatal Sonographer to support training and education initiatives

What We’re Looking For Education & Certification

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
• ARDMS, AART, or OB/GYN registry certification
• RV T or VT certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (maintained)

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 18 months of perinatal sonography experience with senior‑level competencies
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• In‑depth knowledge of human development across all ages
• Competency in abdomen, breast, and neuro imaging; ability to lift up to 50 lbs for patient assistance

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to assist and move patients
• Proficiency in computer operation for data input and retrieval

Compensation

Annual salary $83,000.00‑$95,000.00
