A well-established acute care hospital in Independence, MO is seeking experienced and compassionate Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a 36-bed cardiac specialty unit. • $32–$43/hour (based on experience)

• Shift Differentials: +$3/hr Nights | +$2/hr Weekends

• $12,000 Sign-On Bonus (2-year commitment)

• 36-Bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:

  • Days: 4–5:1

  • Nights: 5–6:1

• Common patient conditions:
  Chest pain, stroke/TIA, COPD, GI, post-operative, arrhythmias, drips, and accelerated heart rhythms.

• Monitor, assess, and provide nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac telemetry.
• Interpret ECGs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Deliver safe, evidence‑based care for patients 16+ requiring cardiac step‑down support.
• Apply strong clinical judgment in emergency and high‑acuity situations.
• Promote patient safety by identifying and mitigating risks.
• Collaborate with physicians, team members, and leadership to support high‑quality outcomes.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required

• Education: Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited nursing program

• Licensure:

  • Active Missouri RN license or Multistate Compact RN license

• Certifications:

  • BLS required upon hire

  • ACLS required within 1 year of hire
