American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications on a night shift schedule.
Details- Work in a high-volume Emergency Department with 40+ beds and 120+ staff
- Patient ratio of 4:1 (3 rooms and 1 hall bed during high volume periods)
- Uses cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, and Lifepak equipment
- Performs IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring/interpretation
- Meditech EMR used
- 13-week assignment on a 7P-7A night shift schedule
- Active RN license (MO or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
- Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience required
- Adaptability and strong team player skills required
- High-pressure and previous medical experience preferred
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, team leads, Advanced Paramedics, EDTs, MHSCs, and Secretaries
- Outgoing, positive demeanor under pressure is ideal for this environment
- Dress code: gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms; appropriate colored t-shirts allowed under a nursing scrub jacket or hospital-approved jacket
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
