Pool Cleaning Technician – Kansas City Area – Summer 2026

Midwest Pool Management is seeking trustworthy and reliable pool cleaning technicians to service and maintain client pools in and around the Kansas City area. Duties include driving to pool locations, testing and adding chemicals, backwashing, and troubleshooting issues.

To succeed, you should have excellent knowledge of pool equipment and maintenance, be able to work with hazardous chemicals, and interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner. This is a seasonal position.

• Drive your own vehicle to various pool locations.
• Maintain equipment and chemical stock at pools.
• Test swimming pool water and adjust chemical balances.
• Clean pools using authorized equipment.
• Backwash all pool filters.
• Report faulty equipment to management.
• Complete paperwork and report service requirements.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

• 16 years or older.
• Ability to lift 50 lb. or more.
• Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Cell phone with camera and photo sending/receiving capability.
• Ability to follow GPS maps.
• Available during the summer, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Typical work hours 6 am–12 pm, available 7 days a week.
• Minimum 18 hours a week and at least four weekend days per month.
• Represent Midwest Pool Management and facility with professionalism.
• Wear required company uniform (shirt, sunglasses, hat/visor, water bottle).
• Treat all patrons kindly and with respect.
• Keep pools and surrounding facilities clean.
• Know your schedule and arrive on time.
• Positive and productive attitude; have fun.
