This role exists to manage site wide consumer safety and quality program implementation and continuous improvement at the factory. • Following HACCP processes, Unilever Corporate policies, and Supply Chain Nutrition initiatives, the Senior QA Manager oversees the site quality agenda, World Class Manufacturing (WCM) quality pillar programs, and participates as a part of the site leadership team.
• Lead the Quality agenda Unilever, focusing on defining, developing, preparing, operationalizing, integrating, facilitating, and coordinating the Quality policy, strategy, processes, Quality management system and standards.
• Ensure harmonized implementation and integration for Quality across design, technology, supply, manufacture, and delivery.

• Establish, lead, and deliver Quality systems for the site.
• Act as the subject matter expert on decisions related to quality programs and processes.
• Provide technical information/feedback related to product inquiries or complaints.
• Manage microbiological concerns and ensure all products meet or surpass defined quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement through WCM programming and collaborate with production departments on awareness and training.
• Ensure good manufacturing practices are in place and champion Quality initiatives.
• Be responsible for food safety programs, participate in site leadership, hire, develop, and manage quality team.
• Support regional and export markets to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in developing and operationalizing Unilever Quality strategy, governance, and organizational model.
• Define relevant KPIs, build scorecards, analyze data, and drive improvement.
• Heal incident management processes, including recalls and lessons learned.
• Influence use of Unilever quality improvement process and toolkit, provide leadership to influence quality culture.

• Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or other applicable field.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory/lead experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a manager capacity; food manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience.
• Experience in WCM, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other continuous improvement program.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others through a matrixed environment.
• Ability to manage project and project teams from inception to completion.
• Working knowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and ability to drive improvements using the Loss Tree.

The pay range for this position is $115,680 to $173,520.

This position is bonus eligible.

This position is LTI eligible.
