Leasing ConsultantThe Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a property.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Perform property leasing and administration tasks, including showing units, qualifying prospects, and processing move‑in paperwork.
- Attend on‑site daily and maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours.
- Execute all functions necessary to close a lease, such as making appointments, generating new leads, maintaining model units, and following up.
- Assist with lease audits, unit walkthroughs, and the property turn‑over process.
- Drive marketing and outreach initiatives to increase property traffic and close ratios, following the annual marketing plan and market analysis.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; generate weekly market survey reports.
- Provide excellent customer service, manage service requests, and resolve resident complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Support resident retention programs, including resident functions, promotions, and monthly newsletters.
- Uphold community policies, enforce rules, and project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with on‑site software functions.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
- Regular movement across work sites, including walking, lifting up to 25 lbs., and standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and various equipment while remaining stationary.
- Operate machinery, power tools, vehicles, and golf carts as needed.
- Work in outdoor environments, confined spaces, and varying temperatures; willingness to work overtime, weekends, and night hours (emergencies).
$17 per hour to $20 per hour
